Chairperson
Dr. Meenakshi Nayar is an Independent and Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Company. She holds Master degree in Psychology from M S University, Vadodara and FPM(Ph.D.) from IIM Ahmedabad in Organizational Behavior. She is Founder Chairperson of ETASHA Society, a not-for-profit organization that provides market-oriented employability and vocational skills to disadvantaged Indian youth. She has worked for more than two decades in Human Resource Management and Development in the corporate sector, involving training and development of ‘grown ups’. She is Founder of EduServe Consultants working with Adolescents in schools in the areas of Sexuality Education, Career Guidance, and Life Skills Development.
Managing Director
Mr. Hemant Bharat Ram hails from the pioneer industrialist family of Lala Shri Ram, Dr. Bharat Ram and Dr. Vinay Bharat Ram of DCM Group. Educated at the Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh PA, USA, he holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. He started his career with DCM Data Product (Now DCM Data Systems) in 1991 and was later appointed as Executive Director of the IT Division of DCM (DCM Data Systems and DCM Technologies Ltd). After successfully turning around the IT Division, he was appointed as Vice Chairman of DCM Engineering Ltd, Ropar who made record profit under his leadership. He is past President of Manufacturers’ Association of Information Technology (MAIT), and Ex- member of National Council of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). Presently, he is a Member of Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), USA and Institute Of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA. He is in Management Committee of Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts.
Mr. Rakesh Goel
Mr. Rakesh Goel is Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Company. He is MBA from Punjab Agricultural University and has served various organizations at top management level in a span of 4 decades of his career. He served at HAFED for 10 years before joining DCM Group in 1990 and has been working at various positions across textile business. He has well rounded experience with multiple functions exposure (purchasing, marketing, plant operations & projects implementation among others. He has end to end experience of all textile operations.
Mr. Jitendra Tuli
Mr. Jitendra Tuli served as the Chairman of DCM Ltd. from December 20, 2011 to January 29, 2016 and served as its Managing Director from December 20, 2012 to January 29, 2016. Mr. Tuli is an Editorial and Communications Consultant at World Health Organization and served as its Public Information Officer for 19 years until 1996. He joined IBM as a Communication Officer in 1971. He started his career in Journalism with Hindustan Times in 1964. He served as the first English Newscaster from Delhi Doordarshan in December 1971 and kept viewers informed of the Bangladesh war. He is deeply involved in the work for the less privileged ones as the trustee of Amarjyoti Charitable Trust and as founder member of Cancer -Sehyog. He is a founder member of Cancer Sahyog. He serves as a Director of DCM Engineering Limited. Mr. Tuli served as a Director of DCM Ltd. from December 27, 2006 to January 29, 2016. Mr. Tuli holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce from Shrirarn College of Commerce. Mr. Tuli obtained his Post Graduate Diploma from London School of Journalism and attended the School of Public Relations and Communications at Boston University, USA.
Mr. Kulbir Singh
Mr. Kulbir Singh serves on the Board of Directors of the Company as an Independent and Non-Executive Director. Mr. Singh attended The Doon School in DehraDun, India, and then went on to earn an Honours degree in Economics from St. Joseph’s College in North Point, Darjeeling. In early 1967, he joined Grindlays Bank. He worked for Grindlays Bank, a century-old British institution, for nearly 30 years.
Mr. Singh spent one-third of his time in London, Hong Kong, and Dubai. Between 2001 and 2003, he served as an advisor to Rothschild Bank AG for India and the Middle East, and for five years to Monument Capital Group LLC, a Washington, DC-based private equity firm focusing on homeland security.
Mr. Singh has also served on the boards of public and private companies ranging from chemicals/petrochemicals to information technology. He has a mix of leadership and advisory experience, with a focus on business strategy, financial management, and compliance, all while maintaining the highest level of integrity.
Mr. Vivek Chhachhi
Mr. Vivek Chhachhi serves on the Board of Directors of the Company as an Independent and Non-Executive Director. Mr. Chhachhi earned a Master’s degree in Management Studies from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, University of Mumbai and a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University.
Mr. Chhachhi had two years of experience as an equity research analyst at a Citi-affiliated brokerage firm, Citicorp Securities & Investments Limited. Mr. Chhachhi was a Director with CVCI, where he had about 15 years of investing experience. Mr. Chhachhi worked with CVCI to identify, manage, and exit a large number of companies in a variety of industries, including IT, pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals, IT enabled services, financial services, auto, metals and mining, infrastructure, oil and gas services, media, and textiles.
Mr. Chhachhi has served on the boards of Thyrocare, Nueclear, Thyrocare Gulf, Sutures, Natco, and Veeda, among others. Mr. Chhachhi has also served on the boards of several CVCI portfolio companies, including i-FLEX, Jubilant Organosys, Sasken Technologies, RelQ Software, Newgen Software, Himadri Industries, and Techno Electric, IVRCL, Perlecan Pharma, International Tractors, Jai Balaji, and Globe Capital, among others.
